This was my first experience with physical therapy and my therapists blew all expectations out of the water. I started with Kate before her maternity leave, she was so attentive to everything i had to say about how i was feeling and what I was experiencing as far as pain and discomfort; she was thorough in her physical evaluations and tailored each session to my needs no matter how much they changed. If there were exercises i didn’t feel comfortable doing or didn’t feel like they were benefitting me she was stocked with backup options and was so quick to pivot on notice. It was really one of only a few interactions with a medical professional I truly felt heard and supported. She was the perfect mixture of feeling safe while pushing me out of my comfort zone to trust the process. She never strayed from my desire to understand the technical aspect of the work we were doing, the muscles/strength we were targeting and how to build on that growth. She made the first half of this experience so educational and comfortable. After Kate went on maternity leave i was able to see Colby who couldn’t have come at a better time in transition. We had gotten the core building blocks in place and my strength was returning, Colby really kicked it up a notch. As an athlete himself, he is passionate about the intensity that come along with sports and weightlifting and he encouraged me to not be scared of return from injury, he challenged me to increase the weights and lower the reps striving for strength levels equivalent or better to before injury. He was attentive in the areas I had room for improvement and challenged me in the exercises he gave me to do outside of therapy. Both therapists were able to utilize the strength testing to provide analytical data associated with my progress which gave me fun targets and numbers to hit, while I’ve officially tested “out” of therapy, I’ll be back in a short month to continue to try to beat my prior test scores and maybe even pick their brain about other muscle groups unrelated to my injury! Performance Therapy as a whole comes highly recommended by me because this was hands down the best experience I could have ever asked for!!

I can't say enough about Direct Performance. I have been to many other places throughout my life, and have never been as satisfied with treatment as I am with Direct Performance. I have been blessed in being able to work with all the therapists in this location, and have not been disappointed once with them nor my sessions. They have a new addition to their staff, Corine Wallis, and she is as amazing, knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and a great personality as the rest of the staff! They are all amazing. I personally want to heal quickly, which I am sure it will happen, but I am not looking forward to finishing my sessions eventually. If you need physical therapy, Direct Performance is where you will get the best! Thank you.

I tore my pec in December 2023 and had surgery 2024. As a person who loves fitness and working out I wanted to be back to doing what I loved as soon as possible. Colby has been a vital part in my recovery from the start. From not being able to really move my arm after the surgery to benching about 80% of my max again in less than 6 months! Through the guidance I received at direct performance I was able to safely recover while also making progress to get back to where I was before the injury. (If not even better) I can’t speak enough about how thankful I am for the folks at direct performance. 10/10 would recommend them for any of your physical therapy needs.

I’ve been receiving PT from Andy Deck for chronic pain as well as some post op PT for several surgeries for over a year & my experience has always been beyond exceptional. Direct Performance has some of the best physical therapist who are knowledgeable & experienced in all aspects of whatever your need might be. No matter your current or past injuries they have you covered. And you don’t even need a script to start. They can help you obtain one from your physician. Thank you Direct Performance You guys all rock!

Dr Colby is my go-to guy for all my aches and pains. Most recently, I went to him for adductor pain related to my pregnancy. I felt like I had exhausted all my options for this particular issue and nothing seemed to be working. Colby dry needled my adductors last week and by that evening I was already feeling much better. By the next day the pain was almost completely gone. In addition to dry needling, Colby gave me some exercises that I could progress on my own, which have continued to help keep the pain away. Once again, Colby to the rescue! I’m so grateful for his knowledge and experience!
